It’s my 31st birthday and I'm sharing 31 things that you may not know about me, Hannah the founder of Like the Dazzling LLC, as well as a few things you may not know about the business! Let’s jump right in!
I went to school to be an educator. Elementary Ed. to be exact. Got the degree and the license.
then traveled the word working on a yacht for 2.5 years after graduating. This was an eye opener for me and derailed my original plan of moving home to teach. Without which, Like the Dazzling would never exist!
Like the Dazzling has always been a family business. My older sister Seldon and I thought we’d go into business together but i jumped ship (literally) before her and started a solo endeavor. She still helps with weddings, my younger sister Sophie is a lead planner of our Asheville operation and my mom, Kimberly is a great assistant/grunt worker and the master behind our rare floral endeavors.
I also have three brothers. While the oldest, Joshua is deceased, he’ll always be my brother so when asked, I am 1 of 6 children. 3 boys, 3 girls.
My favorite band is The Avett Brothers. My husband and I’s first dance was to Swept Away and we see try to see them together at least once a year!
For our First Wedding Anniversary we camped at a music festival they were playing at. We then drove to Savannah and stayed in an airbnb. There’s only so much camping one can do.
My husband and I are high school sweethearts.
While we went to the same HS, we actually met working at the local Harris Teeter grocery store.

We have a beaglier (Beagle, King Charles Cavalier Mix) named Teeter
She’ll be 7 this year but still gets mistaken for a puppy.
In August 2019, I gave birth to our first child, Eleanor.
I also have a neice and a nephew: Scarlett and William

We were scheduled for our first wedding in September 2014
It got cancelled the night before!!
I had my first official wedding of Like the Dazzling in May 2015

My favorite color is Green.
Favorite food is Tacos but coming in close second is Pizza and third Sushi
seriously… i could eat Mexican food every night of the week
I love reading. Any book suggestions, send them my way!
My favorite book I’ve ready in the past year is probably Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
I prefer a beach vacation to anything else .. I just want to lay (under an umbrella) with a drink nearby and a book in hand
but also love exploring new cities and cultures
If I could live in a place I’ve visited it might have to be Palma De Mallorca, Spain
but could get along just fine in the Irish countryside as well
We moved to Atlanta in 2014 for my husbands job and I was so scared!
but so glad that we did because I absolutely LOVE it here
and love serving the Greater Atlanta area Brides and Grooms
